Default Artist That Got You Into Hip Hop

I'm just curious, what particular artist or song got you guys into Hip Hop? It will be interesting to see some of the generation variations.

For me it was Touch The Sky by Kanye West that lead into further digging into the beautiful genre of Hip Hop. But then again I was born late 90's

Freestyle Fellowship made me look at hip hop from less of an ignorant point of view, then Aesop Rock sucked me down the rabbit hole.

Not Boom Bip & Doseone? I can't remember what stage you were when I told you to listen to them.

First 3 hiphop cassettes at age 6: Kid N Play, Tag Team, and Kriss Kross.

I got into underground hiphop around 2004 when a friend introduced me to Aesop Rock and JMT. From there napster led me to Binary Star and Eyedea. After that I went wild finding everything I could.

Probably one of the 90's synth style hip hop songs.

Alright so this is the first time I've heard this song in like 10 years, and it sounds much less impressive than I remember it being, it's almost annoying...
Also a little funny.
