Default tobyMac

Since there is not one thread for the artist tobyMac, I thought I would make one.

Anybody a fan of his music?

I would have to say, his best album for me was "Welcome to Diverse City".

Also if you have listened to tobyMac, you got any artists that are like him.

I think "The Slam" is decent. He's way to pop sounding for me listen to more than one song.

tobyMac is dope. Check out John Reuben, Capital Kings, and the new 'Newsboys' stuff.

All Christian, as I assume that is what you're looking for since tobyMac is the epitome of the Christian Pop genre.

Never heard of him before you played him in plug, but he's got some hella ear worms. I've been toying with the idea of checking him out some more.

There's such a thing as Christian pop? I suppose there'd have to be.

Definitely check him out. I would start on his album "Welcome to Diverse City".
He sort of explores with different sounds as well. One minute he might go R&B and then the next track might be a rock/metal sound.

Because of this I don't like to label him as pop. Just Christian music. This is coming from a person who has listened to all of his albums. He has a pretty diverse sound.
