Unreal production on that album.

The beats on this new album are not as pots and pans as on 2001 as well.

@Justthefacts yeah, but it's inspired by the film.
Regardless of how this movie does, or this record for that matter, if an N.W.A reunion ignites from this I'll be the happiest man alive.

I doubt that will happen but it'd be good. No Eazy though. I think I read once his son would take his place.

I have pretty much the opposite take on this album as you. To me, the first six tracks set the bar pretty low but after that the album gets a lot better.

For the record, I think The Chronic and 2001 are about equal and have no idea what you mean by "pots and pans".

I think Kendrick Lamar could fit the bill

Na I'm talking about The Chronic there when I said 1-9 are perfection, before $20 Sack Pyramid comes along, not this album.

I mean, on The Chronic there are less sounds in the beats, on this it sounds more overdone. Probably not the right term tbh but you get what I mean.

Not sure what you mean. You said the new one was less pots and pans than 2001. How does The Chronic come into it? And what does "less sounds in the beats" mean?

I meant The Chronic sorry.

I do actually mean less sounds in the beats. On Nuthin But A G Thang I can hear about three or four. This isn't the same.

Do you mean the production isn't as full sounding? I'd agree with that. That's something I don't like about The Chronic compared to 2001 or even compared Doggystyle. It's a little thin sounding. Not as bad as NWA but close.
