Toots and the Maytals
The Ethiopians
Burning Spear
Lee Scratch Perry
Judge Dread

Speaking of Marley, both Ziggy and Damien's stuff are pretty fun.

Question Help with a song

I need some help. I just heard this reggae song and I can only remember the phrase "there's a moon out tonight, a lover's moon out tonight". Does anyone know what song this is? It's pretty upbeat.

I think the lyrics you mention come from a Gregory Isaacs tune, but I don't remember for sure.

C and W, welcome to the world of reggae...it's insanely addicting and uplifting, and there's tons of good music for you to discover. Some of my personal faves are:

John Brown's Body
The Meditations
Bunny Wailer
Peter Tosh
Jacob Miller and Inner Circle
Freddie McGregor
Lee "Scratch" Perry
Justin Hinds and the Dominoes
Toots and the Maytals
