I love The Slackers, Skatalites, Ska Flames, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, Mark Foggo...
And then there's crossover ska like Sublime, Babylon Circus and Mad Caddies

If you like TSPO, then check out Berlin Boom Orchestra and New York Ska Jazz Ensemble.

That's the kind of reply I like.
I'll be checking them out after my current record has finished .

So there goes. I like some stuff of the NY Ska-jazz ensemble. Some tracks have to much soul/R&B in them and I really don't like the voice of the singer. But there's some really neat instrumental tracks .
Berlin Boom Orchestra isn't for me. I don't like the german language in music. I hear it too often I guess. When I scream, the Germans can hear me. Literally. I live really close to Germany. The dialect that's spoken here is part German too. I don't speak it myself, but I think I had a little German language overdose .

I don't really see the link with TSKPO, though. It's both rather different.
Do you know Ska Flames? They get a bit closer to TSKPO .

I'm going to check out which NYSJE I like most and whether it's available on vinyl

I used to hate Ska music so much, until I went to see Bad Manners last year. I only went because I have heard they are amazing live and and full of energy.... Well people weren't wrong there, I had a fantastic night and suprisingly knew most of the songs :o

Ever since I love Ska, Favourites are Bad Manners, The Specials, Madness, Rancid
