Hey whos everyones favourite ska bands?

Mines gotta be Less Than Jake, they are heaps rad!!!

yea less than jake is really cool. but mine is probably home grown. i saw them in concert last december with starting line and allister and some others and they were awesome. their most recent cd is good. kings of pop i think its called

I've only heard two Less Than Jake songs, and they both sounded like punk rather than ska.

i prefer to listen to the original old ska bands, like Madness, Specials and Bad Manners

I don't really have a favourite band. I judge each song as I hear it. At the moment, I like the Splitters (a UK band), and I'm getting into the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

The bands you mentioned are not the originals. The originals were Jamaican artists from the 1960s such as Prince Buster, Laurel Aitken, the Skatalites, Don Drummond and so on.

i love the planet smashers they are the sickest ska band...and their from canada...so that makes them cool lol...save ferris is really good and i'm starting to get into Mustard Plug...there's soo many good ska bands...ooo meganoidi's really good too...and i dunno if sublime really counts as ska it's more regaeish but sublimes my fav band so yea
