best ska band (dance, punk, album, bands, Hang)

^ well you should think of it this way. if you compare say groups like the toasters/hepcat/slackers/pietasters to LOC or AAA or goldfinger, theres a big difference. most of the groups mentioned are punk/ska, while specifically sublime is more reggae-rock and goldfinger is more pop/rock. either way, personally i dont see much problem with people mentioning punkska here, or reggae.

Punk ska isnt ska at all. almost none of it has any similarities with ska. Just because a band has horns dosnt mean there kind of like ska. It just means that they have a horn section. As for reggae theres been no argument against it.

Neither do I and im reffering to "Superman" by goldfinger thats a punk/ska tune.

I can get into ska - some that i like:

The Pietasters - (my band played with them, and they put on such a good live show)
Blue Meanies - (same reason as above)
Kongo Shock - (same reason as above)

maybe i dont like ska as much as i thought , just the bands that ive played with in the past.. hmmm???
