A.K.A. the best genre ever.

Well, it's up there anyway. I cannot stop listening to Scientist. And De Facto. And Mad Professor. Seriously. I even listen to dub as I'm falling asleep at night. The shit is like crack to me.

Check out Sly and Robbie solo stuff too. They are Reggaes equivalent to Motowns Funk brothers. They are drummer and bassist respectively. They also were the backing section for Black Uhuru (another great band).

Bob is just a little better than Jimmi in everyway musically, but he was a cultural icon not only to Rasta's but to blacks everywhere, this one was easy....

Bob Marley is one of the greatest artists of all time, there's no question it's him. The rebel spirit/sadness of some of his songs is astounding, You usually don't notice these things until the second time around. Take "Buffalo Soldier" for instance. I didn't think much of it at first, but I listened to it again, and more closely, it's now one of my favorite Marley songs.

But what he did not know was that it was already behind him, somewhere in the vast obscurity beyond the city, where the dark fields of the republic rolled on under the night. Gatsby believed in the green light, the orgiastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that's no matter- tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther…And one fine morning- So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
