Question Suggestions please

New to Music Banter and just wanted to say hi! I started to listen to the Beat quite a few years ago and have just recently rekindled my intrest> Can anyone suggest some other bands for me to check
out past or present. I also love Bob Marley. Thanks in adwance.

For more recent stuff: The Slackers, Dave Hillyard, Chris Murray, Westbound Train, Hepcat, The Aggrolites, The Scofflaws

Older stuff: Skatalites, Doreen Shaffer, Tommy McCook, Prince Buster, Laurel Aitken, Lee Scratch Perry, Toots & The Maytals, The Ethiopians, Burning Spear...there's a lot of good stuff. Search around this forum, there's plenty of good threads that have more recommendations.
