Collective soul
Who likes Collective Soul?
I love a lot of their stuff but mainly the early work such as their Self Titled album. Favourite Songs would have to be... Where the River Flows December Precious Declaration Shine

They did release an album, Youth I believe, in the past 2 years (potentially 1).
It wasn't so much that they went soft as it is that they ran out of ideas. Counting the Days (if I remember correctly) was a horrible rip off of Metallica's "King Nothing" (in the guitar work only) and if it wasn't that song it was another radio single. "I'm Feeling better now" was pretty good in my opinion, but songs like Precious Declaration were a real gem in a time when guitars were just being used to make fuzz, they had enough Eddie Vedder to get play from the alt. crowd but their guitar work was a shot from the past.
