My number 1 favorite would probably be Hendrix or Page, followed by Gilmour, May, Santana, EVH, Howe, Fripp, Morello, countless others.

My favourite guitarplayer is Jimi still. "Voodoo Chile", "Castles Made Of Sand", "1983... (A Merman I Should Turn To Be)"...
He's awesome.
But I like Mark Knopfler too. Saw him live. I mean, he's 56 now and he played that solo of "Sultans Of Swing" like hell. Damn. I was staring at his fingers all the time.
