Band Names (lyrics, rap, members, bands, guitar)

ok i wanna be in a band, start one up, however i have no band members names etc. i can play guitar and sing, pretty well, like billie joe armstrong. just let me know if your in uk n ur intrested in starting a band.

I have the same problem. Id join but I only write lyrics, sing, and I live in cali. So I don't even know why I'm replying.

I'd recommend to advertise and search on "formingbands", "partysounds","musofinder" and other area-specific musician internet databases like that (you can find them via google). They give you the option of including geographic location in the search criteria, which means that you can start by looking for musicians in your local area. This means that you can check out the ads for drummers and bassists in Leeds and Bradford, for example, before you have to work your way through ads by nose-flute players based in Kathmandu or rhythmic-breathers from Lapland. Very convenient.

I think i a band name should be decided by members and not a bunch of strangers on the internet.

my thing was disabled coz, like the other day, iwas in mood n told the people in rap to go, like eff them selves. n you aint allowed to argue, which is a shame.

i agree with misfitspunk that you need to worry about actually getting a band and putting music on paper before you start worrying about a name!! i sing, write and play backing guitar sumtimes and some of my mates have just split from a band so may be up for anything lol! plus i kno a few other band guys who are just sitting on there arses at the moment!! oh and btw just wondering but are you looking for experienced band members or guys who are just starting out???
