Am I alone in thinging these two forums
rock and metal should be seperated?

There would be far to many arguements about what constitutes rock as opposed to metal. I like the emo & hardcore forum idea. the music has the same roots but grew different. like rock and metal.

in some cases it would be cool if they were split up but there would be a lot of arguments about how this band is rock....no they're metal...**** would happen...but i could see it not being horrible

I think its fine. It saves arguements, and how much does it really affect you that we have one forum for two genres? Its not as if its like, jazz and metal in one forum. They're not TOO far off.
