I'm obsessed with Evanescence.
They are the reason I fell in love with music.
They are the first (real) band I ever saw live, and it was AWESOME.

I was OBSESSED with them when I was 12/13 and actually listened to Fallen nonstop when I went through my first breakup... I don't know, I have a soft spot for a lot of their early stuff ("Anywhere" is a beautiful song) even though I think much of it is way overdramatic and can get pretty tedious to listen to. Their newer stuff I haven't paid much attention to because meh.

Evanescence, is one of my favorite bands, it may not be so complex but the lyrics have so much emotion in them. (At least the first album was for me) This is the kind of music that speaks to my heart and mind in riddles that force my own semi relative emotions to release.
Beautiful music, if it would be a little more complex I would probably listen to it daily.
