I like My immortal and a few other of their songs like Imaginary and Everybodys fool, Amy Lee has a great voice, but I don't know about the rest of the band. Amy Lee would be so better off having a solo career doing a lot more stuff like My Immortal. Evernessance as a band are just too wannabee gothic metal. Their music is alright but their attitude is as if they were HIM or Siousixe or the Banshees or some other gothic band. I don't like HIm myself but there seems some huge nu-metal/gothic following of alte with Evernessance, Him and Nightwish..It annoys me a bit becaus eteh qaulity of the music isn't actually that high..

I discovered them around 4 years ago...before the whole mainstream thing....ide have to agree with wyldchild on the earlier stuff...pitty you cant really get the rare stuff...like:Solitude,Exodus and missing is prolly one of my faves....i also like every somng of Origin lyrics for even in death are awesome...that definatly helped me through some times...and influenced my writing back then... i am a slight fan of their newer stuff...i kind of grew out of them a bit...Nightwish are my new evanescence..which is strange becuase nightwish went mainstream aswell with Once..which has the same artwork as evanescence's Ep...

ya, Novus are a pretty decent band, Megan is an awesom singer and the plan is for her to do some vocals on a couple of our songs when we record in Sept.
