i definately love metal and if your in the florida area you should check out these two bands..
Ahriman
and
Nefaustium

they are actually my brothers bands.. my brother John is the guitarist in Ahriman and my brother Mike is the drummer in Nefaustium.. and i'm not just saying they're awesome because their my brothers bands.. they really are awesome! i love them! so check them out on myspace (i dont know the url right off the bat but you can look it up on music)

ahriman rocks. nothing too out of the ordinary about them but theyre really powerful. i like their screaming too. definitely await more by them. they remind me of both trivium and as i lay dying, which i like a lot.

nefaustium, i dont like so much. too much of the insanely heavy bass and drums that it just seems overpowered. theyre alright, i just like the other one better. sweet stuff.

haha nefaustium's drums too overpowering? yeah that'd be my brother lol.. he's been drumming for 10 years so he's really good..

glad you like Ahriman, yea i really like as i lay dying so i like them alot too.. i think i like them better, but Mike's band is still really good they're more on the black metal side..

I just saw a pretty good band from florida open up for Sevendust a little over a week ago!!!I had a feeling they were from florida at first, but wasn't positive until they actually told everyone that they were.My original reason for thinking they were from florida was because the bassist had a Miami Heat 32 (Shaq) shirt on!!!He was left handed too, by the way!!!

Getting back to the whole story of them opening up for Sevendust and all...I thought they were simply a cool band with good musicians and, even more important, a singer that didn't have an annoying voice/scream!!! The band is called "One" and I caught the drummers drumstick so I now have a cool "keepsake" of this band from florida!!!It was a great night for sure and I thought their name was kinda interesting/funny especially when they said, We Are "One."
