Europe (metal, rock, genre, album, members)

Does anyone actually like these guys? First heard "Rock The Night" years back off some compilation, I loved it at the time. They seem like one of those bands that are associated with just about anything thats getting recognition but no one remembers they have their own music.
The early sound was rather progressive, that earnt them little attention so they slid more into early forms of metal and are considered pretty influential in the genre of Power Metal. Apparently the 2 first bassists went to Rising Force, Malmsteen's band, and in exchange Marcel Jacob left Rising Force to join what was then called Force, later on they became Europe.
I didn't even know they still made music, they released an album in 2004 and I heard absolutely nothing of it.

So Europe eh...

I heard some band do a song called "The Final GRINDown"
It was pretty cool.

Their guitarist used to be in a band called Easy Action , who sued Poison over one of their songs.

But i hate limburger, Europe is limburger.

Seriously, i consider them one of the top 10 worst bands of all time, even worse than Poison and Warrant.
