Default David Gilmour's "On an Island" - New Studio Album

The voice and guitar of Pink FLoyd: David Gilmour. His new studio album is called "On an Island." Does anyone have it? The packaging was made in Italy and has the binding of a children's story book. I love it. Check it out!!

The slew of Meddle-esque moments it encompasses alone establishes it as the greatest solo album by any Floyd member.

Excellent album.

I only heard one song from it, they played it on a classic rock station, i liked it.

I might get it next time i go to the store, im sure its better than any of Roger Waters solo albums.

form what i've heard it sounds like he hasn't left pink floyd, or the 70's for that matter. am a big floyd fan but this doesn't strike me as anything other than more of the the same but out of date

I haven't listened to all of it yet but what I listened to during download was exactly what you would expect - grandiose overproduced psuedo head music. Not that I'm disappointed with that - it's what he does. Still has that great piercing guitar sound. I just wish he would do a more extensive tour. NY & LA here in the states just don't cut it.
