There is a genre called aggro-metal. Fear Factory was defined under that category.
I have some ideas: Dirge Metal, Experimental Metal, Schizo Metal, Post-Apocalyptic Metal, and Rapcore.

Post-Apocalyptic? How does metal go about being post-apoc? Has there been some nuclear war since I last looked out the window? Would you care to explain, because now I just confused and alone, and sad, and fearing nuclear war, and monkeys.

Well a song by any artist could be considered emo, I think emo comes from emotional or something, and most people think its any song that has to do with being dumped by a girl. Right right then. I don't really care about genre's anymore, I like what I like, and I make fun of what I don't like. :P
