Ozzfest 2006 (dance, metal, metallica, AC/DC, quote)

So nothing has really been said yet, and I think it should. What does everyone think about this year's ozzfest?

Ozzy isnt even coming to Detroit and I hate him for that.

I'm going to see Disturbed, Lacuna Coil and System of a Down. I dont care much about the lesser bands or Hatebreed. And its rumored that the mystery band might be Metallica or AC/DC. Anyone heard anything about that?

i heard your mom was gonna be there, you know doing the normal thing she does, free bj's and safe sex talks but yeah.

and you know my already solved delema of me going to that or prom, i don't really care about prom, 'cause it's ozzfest, but you know my boy would probably enjoy going to one high school dance while one of us can you know?

but if theres anyway i can go you know i'll be there getting stoned and moshing with ya piper

Missing homecoming would be okay, but missing prom! You'd regret it. I missed Ozzfest before, and after a few months, I get over it. And last years prom was great. Who told you the proms always suck? And there will be no smoking involved! But plenty of moshing.....or at least as much as there can be with those bands.

The real question is when will they put this sad ass tour to rest. If Ac/Dc or Metallica headlined that would be the greatest headling set to ever get booed because they weren't hard enough.

All the 14 year olds I work with would jump on their "this blows, wheres soulfly (or whoever)"

Yeah, the lineup has SORELY suffered, but I still love the three bands I mentioned above. And I dont think I could put into words the rage I felt when I found out Ozzy wasnt touring Detroit. I mean, it's a music capital!

I'd go to see Norma Jean, Atreyu, Unearth and Between The Buried and Me. I only really care about the second stage, but i'd rather go to warped I hate more then half the bands on there.
