Agreed,but what Im trying to say is...we would have had the same kind of music without them.They have made a difference,theres no doubt about that,but we had other sources...heavier sources.I dont know....I dont think either of us can be right or wrong with this...its simply a matter of opinion I guess.

I love hating SlipKnot and Slayer and pretty much all death/black/whatever you want to call it metal bands.

GnR were good before the band left Axl on his own. In fact the band was the only good part about GnR, Axl is an arrogant selfish singer. I hate the new GnR.

Love hating Metallica. Love hating Nickelback (note: if you play "this is how you remind me" and "someday" at the same time you will realize they are exactly the same song.)

How can you hate old Metallica? I can understand the newer stuff being hated, hell, I hate it. But the old stuff was great.

And Rolling Stones were pretty hot **** back in the day...are you holding a grudge by still hating them now? I don't know anyone that still does...

I LOVE the stones! And old METALLICA is great too. But the best Heavy Metal band in my opinion was always PANTERA.

I don't actually bother hating any bands. It's too much effort. There's hundreds that I don't listen to though, most of them being in my big brother's record collection.
