how come Metal doesnt have a forum of its own? (indie, punk)

it was pretty much what you said.

its just that punk has its own forum.. indie does, even Hardcore and emo does... surely thats far more specific than simple metal. even if you put it within rock it would be better than mixing them.

I`m not against it , I just don`t think there`s any need for it

If there was a seperate one for metal, then all the other people who liked different genres would want 3 forums for every type of music in each sub-genre...

And the amount of people that come here there wouldn`t be much point.

Mind you I can see his point, i`d hate to share a forum of the music I love with Led Zeppelin fans too

her point..

its just that metal is one of the most popular alternative genres of our generation. why seperating the two is any different to seperating punk and hardcore (which are far more simlar) i dont know...
