I just browsed the above, but I do believe nobody mentioned Dimmu Bogir. They are pretty good thrashing metal.

Levithian did. personally I dont like them either but all the other bands he recomended are really good IMO.

and also I'm stoked to see several people suggest Quo Vadis. Terrific band.

on the other hand stop saying Dimmu Borgir! Shade Empire is a much better synth-BM band
