in my view ozzy wasnt nearly as good when he was the singer for sabbath, he was much better solo artist, but why do people think he is no good as a solo artist

Most of Ozzy's solo albums are great, and most of Ozzy's albums with Sabbath are great. They're pretty even, in my opinion.

ZeppelinAir, the reason some people think that Ozzy's solo career was no good is because those people suffer from Mental Retardation.

Both are equally good in my opinion. Ozzy's work with Sabbath will always outshine his solo work because of the influential nature of early Black Sabbath.

I always like vocalist on their first couple of albums rather than when they mature. So I'm kind of biased but I say Sabbath.

Sabbath had the right kind of grind to it. His solo sucked after Randy died.
