Thrice (indie, punk, rock, favorite song, favorite band)

com: vheissu not a bad album at all. if you feel let down or that this album sux, keep in mind the that the musicians are playing what they feel, what they like. i give them tons of respect for that, for doing what they feel[musically]. some bands change their sound to appeal to more fans; however, i feel that thrice would rather change fans to appeal to their sounds. i can't get enough of this band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great band. Vhessiu is my favorite album by them.

I think they get better with each cd, so my favorites go in reverse order that they were released.

Production aside, their songwriting has improved dramatically each album. As have the lyrics and themes they develop in their songs.

I kinda find Vheissu to be a little bit of a bore, except for Image of the Invisible. The songwriting has matured, but one of my main reasons for liking Thrice was that their songs were kinda upbeat, heavy, and had a lot of energy to them (Deadbolt and Silhouette for example, are two of my favorite songs by them). The majority of Vheissu is kinda slow, so it was a bit of a disappointment for me.

I personally thought that Illusion was leagues above Artist. But I must agree with you on Vheissu being their best album.
