I pretty much love them, I prefer Start Something to the other two.
Apparently, their new album is going to be darker and heavier...I'll be the judge of that. Yeah, they rule for me. One of my favourite bands. Though I do have to agree, they are on the verge of mainstream and that always puts me off for some reason. |

Mainstream isn't a genre, it's a status. A band becomes mainstream when they get signed to a major label and they write radio friendly songs. I wouldn't say LostProphets "verge" on mainstream...I would say they are and always have been mainstream.

I see that you live in the UK... Lostprophets have been backed by our major radio stations from the second album at the latest and they've been all over the front covers of our biggest-selling music magazines. They're absolutely huge.
