Default Warped Tour 8/10 Report

On the drive up there, it started to. I was very upset. Cause I didn't want it to storm. Obviously. But everything cleared up round 9:30 and I met up with some friends bought my ticket off of a scalper who was selling them for 20 bucks.

And these are the bands I remember seeing:

Greeley Estates : Sucked. Way too much girly "hardcore" dancing and really ****ty music

Bullet For My Valentine: I've heard 2 songs previous to this, but somehow I knew exactly what was going to happen next in everysong.

The Bled: Fun as **** live. **** the haters.

Rise Against: After listening to and loving this band for almost 5 years, I finally saw them live. I was ****ing blown away. Amazing energy, great song choices, just tight all around. They played, State Of The Union, Black Mask& Gasoline, Ready To Fall, Give It All, and another new one that I can't remember.

Anti-Flag: I know most people here hate them, but they are soo crucial live. I don't have the new album so I don't know those songs but they played: Underground Network, 911 For Peace, The Press Corpse and another new song, and then Die For Government.

Aiden: Me and some friends just kept crowd killing. And when they set up the "Wall Of Death" we threw rocks. I hit the guitar, but not the guitarist. DAMN! All in all though, WORST band of ALL TIME.

HORSE: Oh god this was sooo ****ing awesome. They cracked jokes on everyone and tore the place up. less than 100 people were watching so it was tight. Birdo, Million Exploding Suns, Bunnies, Lord Gold, Cutsman. And we kept screaming for more. Nathan asked if they had 2 minutes left. They did, so they played Soaring Quails and it led into TAKEN BY VULTURES! That made my day. So tight.

I was going to go see Against Me! but i was way too worn out. So I watched The Sleeping from this big hill. It was the only time I've heard them so I can't really make a judgement.

I watched 2 songs of Thursday and then left.

and now some gripes.

1. Fat scene chicks are the grossest people on earth
2. Aiden has the girliest fans ever. I wanted to kill these idiots
3. When you buy a band shirt, DO NOT immediatly put it on. Nothing screams I'm a Tool more than that.
4. Circle pits are not running laps. I hate people.

all in all it was a 7/10. Good day, coulda been better.

Ah, I missed it this year. Sounded sick though, the bled and horse put on amazing shows. Thursday is awesome live too, I met Geoff when I saw them. I remember seeing Rise Against with Alexisonfire awhile back, one of the best shows i've ever been too easily. I can imagine Anti-Flag being fun live also, should've found time to go when it came 'round here...=/

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

I went to Warped Tour this year.
I think the highlights were seeing Joan Jett, UnderOath and Rise Against.

I didn't get to see much of Armor for Sleep though

Yeah she does look rather old live.

I Liked Rise Against but I think they've given better performances.
