The 69 Eyes (lyrics, bass, rock, albums, goth)

I've listened to them for a while for fun, took a break, and recently started listening to them again. I saw a picture of this guy and did not guess that low voice would come from him. But, then again, I couldnt picture that voice coming from anyone, its just weird. But the melodies are catchy, lyrics are good, they utilize keyboards and soft female backup vocals(which I love). Opinions? They sound a bit like old HIM when Ville used his bass voice occasionally.

Dude, not too many people like them. I do though. They have a very unique sound and I like it...ALOT!

^I didnt even know that. But seeing as they sound alike to HIM, it would make sense. I heard a sample of them at best buy and loved it.

They're a shitty band and the only reason they sell albums is because Bam hypes them non-stop and little skater kids listen to them because he does. I fucking hate Viva La Bam goth rock.

Resurrecting an old post... LOL I've always been into the Gothic Roock sound and my wife stumbled accross this band on MySpace... I got listening to them and I really dig their stuff. Much better than HIM or Poisonblack... I remain a HUGE Type O fan so, I won't say they are as good as them, but I really think they rock! I've bought 3 of their albums so far and I am planning on getting Devils soon... I didn't even know about Bam till I went looking for the song Lost Boys... I don't watch Bam, I think he's an idiot, but the 69 Eyes have been doing this for A LONG time, way before Bam heard them. Just because they aren't on the charts in the states, doesn't mean they are a bad band... Besides, Finland and Norway are world reknowned as a great place for metal!

^I got to see them back in Febuary and they look like an 80s hair metal band. They were really good live though.
