Super good Japanese stoner/doom/sludge other stuff sometimes. Anyone else like them?

nice one.... what else are you into?

My thoughts on Boris vary.. they're so prolific its impossible to hear enough of their releases to form an opinion on the band IMO. i do like what ive heard though, which is Pink, Sun Baked Snow Cave and the fantastic Altar.

I'm into alot of stuff, my taste in music is so varied that its hard to even begin making a list of what I like.

The one thing that gets me about them is that most of their releases are impossible to find in America. I have Amplifier Worship, Megatone, and Heavy Rocks.

They're not easy to get hold of here in the UK either.. surprisingly the collaboration with Sunn O))) is the most widely distributed!

apart from my local record store (who buy in alot of good stuff) i usually buy stuff off the internet, Important Records and Crime mail-order are two of my favourite online stores... both of which stock various Boris releases.

Heavy Rocks is a brutal album. While Pink has more energy oozing from it than the sun. I've got the altar collab but I don't like it as much as the other 2 albums I've got, though it is astoundigly heavy.

Boris are indeed fucking top-shelf stuff. I love them.

I'm seeing them live next week.

I love Boris. Their last album, Rainbow (with the guy from Ghost) was awesome, and I love that some of their other albums can vary from long, drone tracks to short and fast, almost hardcore songs. Akuma No Uta is the best example of this, that album is pretty schizophrenic. It's one of my favourites by them.
