![]() First of all, they're not a doom band. They're not a Stoner band eather. And I assure you they're not another instrumental band. But most importantly, I could be lying. Although I'm not. Annnnywayyy...The 3 piece that is Pearls and Brass formed in 2001 and are some sweet soft psychedelic rock (some call it hard rock, I hear more soft than hard). Bluntly, you couldn't really call them anything new, I swear I've heard this sound quite a bit now as it's been tweaked off an original 70's base; however it is really, really well done. They originally started out playing "ultra fast hardcore", music of theirs I haven't yet heard, but they've since grown out of it and have been listening to a lot of bluesy stuff, which you can kind of hear coming through in their latest release The Indian Tower. I found this, it is entitled Volume 1 and was described as Metal/Death Metal, so I couldn't tell you about this side of P&B; Volume 1 And heres a sample off The Indian Tower, the psychedelic stuff I've been talking about. Give something a download, they're pretty awesome, a great jam band, and The Indian Tower is a sweet album.
