^ if you listen to just one APC song, you will find every ong by Tool boring or lacking in something.

Seriously Tool has songs that are 7-8 minuetes long and half of it there are no singing, and the lyrics I can't find myself in them.

i don't mind the instrumentals behind most tool songs. but i find myself wanting to put something on when lyrics come into play.
there really isn't anything special about the band whatsoever come to think of it.

Funny, because APC had one album that was decent and only about half of it is good.

I'm by no means one of those crazy ass Tool fans who make them out to be godlike or anything, but they are pretty solid in the song writing department and I can't think of a Tool song I don't enjoy.

I don't like either one of the bands but i'm just saying I can't find myself in the music Tool makes or even NIN for that matter.

The problem with NiN is that it all plays into the grunge rock thing of catharsis vindicating music. As long as you're on anti-depressants you can put out any old s*** and its automatically the highest art because its cathartic.

B****cks.
