SXSW (South by Southwest) is a interactive, film, and music festival coming up in March in Austin, Texas, but also with performances in other parts of the country. Other than the bands listed in the banner, Interpol, Bloc Party, The Stooges, and 503 other acts will be playing.

Jeez, I live in Austin and will not be able to go. Wrist bands and badges are over $200 and I'm really low on cash right now. Not only that, but I don't even think I'm gonna be in town that week. I'd love to be able to catch Mastodon, Pelican and Mogwai, especially. The Melvins are also playing...man, this sucks, heh.
