For what it's worth, I like them better than Guns and Roses because they don't have a vocalist I want to punch in the face but I still don't like them.

Meh, that grit can get to an indie listener's ears.

I can get through Amputecture without cringing, so I can take any kind of music (except for rap and pop and hip-hop and emo and all their subsidiaries). Which is a strange reference, because VR are not cacophonous.

If they did not have Slash on guitar, I would agree. He does liven them up a lot.

They should all start doing smack again. Only time any of them have ever recorded anything worth listening to is while they were on smack.

Get those syringes back out and give us a real rock album, VR. I beg of you.
