Well I'm automatically not voting for the Dragonforce guys since all of their songs go something like this just in a different variation

And that's why I can't understand why people just pass him off as a shredder. I do prefer Tender Surrender though - it doesn't meander as much. Satriani is actually a great songwriter, especially Strange Beautiful Music era. Malmsteen is rubbish IMO.
