Fury Of the Storm is a great album to start with.

I started with Revolution Deathsquad but i still love them.

I personally do not like them, and think there whole image is corny and annoying. But there are 2 or 3 songs i dont mind, and that i feel actually have some music value to them.

I think their whole band is a joke... and after they stop making cash or they don't find it funny anymore they will break all their fans hearts. That will be epic.

i guess that they do seem to have but a few songs that really pop out to me. the rest are just annoying and Li just tries too hard. i wont be surprised when they break up. I mean i still really enjoy there music. But thinking about it. not as much as i used to.

Well, I would waste my time sharing my feelings about DragonForce, but it has already been done here.

Even with all the references to battles of steel and the burning of fire and flames, it's still pretty impressive that DragonForce was able to use the word "pain" an incredible 26 times in only eight songs (and that doesn't even count how many times it's repeated in the chorus). After listening to the lead singer's voice and watching their videos, it's most surprising that the word "pussy" doesn't appear once. That word was apparently not included with the Dungeons and Dragons magnetic poetry set the band used to write their lyrics.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

That said, I don't really agree with this being made sticky and causing the idea that a few peoples opinion are the official views of MB.

Basically Dragonforce is 5 or 6 guys all jacking off on stage. Seriously there's no other way to describe it. The solo's require no phrasing whatsoever and the keyboard parts are really boring. If it was porn it would be the most boring unarrousing porn ever.

So really their talent seems to be wanking, which is really really boring. Basically, if you hear one song you've heard all of them.

yea but i mean.....so many people are totally amazed by dragonforce and a lot of people i talk to who dont play any music take them seriously and think that they're "epic."

so it comes down to just a bunch of people liking the equivalent of bad porn.

and besides...didnt they get into G3 a couple years ago...? they're like the Red Hot Chili Peppers-only they're STILL a total joke.
