Don't try Arctic Monkeys. They can't hold their instruments right, never mind play them. There is far better music out there.
As for Foo Fighters, if you haven't seen them live then f**k off. Foo Fighters are probably one of the best live bands on the planet and Dave Grohl has a huge musical talent.

loz. Arctic Monkeys are about a zillion times more creative and musically interesting than the Foo Fighters and their lyrics tonnes wittier and more dexterous...and I'm not even an AMs fan.

wow, who the **** cares how they hold there instruments, the arctic monkeys are one if the greatest british indie rock bands out there right now, although i do find them very very similaar to the liberitines.
as said before, maybe dave grohl does have a huge musical talent, but the foo fighters have given up tryign and have become a boring, typical radio rock band (although i am a bit of a fan still) The arctic monkeys are a billion times better, more creative, exciting, no doubt

They had a few Libertine-esque elements on their first album, particularly the guitar style. The second album however seems to have totally gone off in another direction. I'd say what they have now is entirely their own sound.
