cause Dave Mustane is still bitter after being kick out of Metallica even with the success with his own band. If Dave Mustaine was asked to go on MTV he'd jump at that in a second. James Hetfield is 100 times better at singing Kirk Hammett is way better at guitar.Without Metallica there would be no Megadeth if Lars didnt Kick him out we wouldnt be talkin about this. METALLICA

Hetfield has (had) the iron fist but I have to go with the Marty Friedman Megadeth hay-day all the way!

Did they really? Hmm, im trying to remeber which song Metallica allowed a wrestler to use (sand man doesn't count since they hijacked it). Risk was far more pop than either load. In fact mustaine had a pretrack chorus warm up so you could sing along to "crush 'em".

Metallica is my choice for better band. Megadeth isn't bad, but they aren't a better band at all. Top to bottom Metallica outshined them. You can make a case for Metallica being in the top 5 bands ever. No one makes a case for megadeth, and frankly no one would think of them if asked such a question.

As an aside, because the opinon police are probably reading this, I can't even fathom how you could comapre the two but then again, thats just me.

Never made any sucky music? Come on, someone back me up on this one. Megadeth has a ton of sucky music. Aerosmith was a classic rock band and they had a ton of sucky music. No one makes great songs non-stop, your just bold faced lying now.

And you can't split a bands catalouge, you judge it as a whole with minor exceptions being when people leave the band. I'd say its usually the singer (Black Sabbath can, and should, be split) but to split a bands music and say well I like that peice, or that peice, but not this one. What else do we do this to? Nothing. You either like it or you don't, music doesn't have an option for line item veto.

theres no way that metallica can be better than megadeth listion to anysongs by megadeth like 99 ways to die, sweating bullets, symphony of destruction. theres no metallica song that will compare to those and those songs are random
