its pretty much what ur into both bands music is similar but with metallica there vocals it normal where megadeths are weird and insane. MEGADETH RULES

yeah that what I was getting at. What is normal about Metallica, and I don't think Mustaine is a great vocalist.

Who cares who's vocals are more "normal" isn't metal partially about being out of the norm anyways? What the hell...I prefer Megadeth for the simple fact that I like Dave Mustaine much more as a person than I do Lars Ulrich (incase you didn't know HE founded the band, not James Hetfield) He's just a better person in my eyes.

But musically, both bands are amazing...aside from Metallica's most recent disaster...St.Anger. That's awful...Both new albums verses the other, Megadeth wins by far.

But anyways, both bands are great metal bands.

Even though I personally feel that Mustaine contributed to the best parts of Metallica... when he was in the band.

That's just my opinion though.

I was a huge Metallica fan 6years ago coz the albums I bought at the time just happened to be there earlier stuff,then I figured out that they didnt thrash or play technical anymore,that broke my heart. how S H I T is St Anger?? oh yeah an Hetfield's voice lost it's aggression didn't it? He sounds like some sort of country singer dude........
Then I found Megadeth that's the ****! Here is a band who had the metal spirit the I don't give a **** attitude. and fantastic musicians.
Megadeth has my vote!!! they stayed true even when they made the softer albums. coz the people & sound stayed metal!
Metallica lost integrety & style that made them real.SELL OUTS!!

Megadeth never quit ((musically speaking)). Hail the true legends

What is remarkable is that they never will be legends. For all you people who came here to bash Metallica, let me remind you how revered each band is in Metal.

Awhile back, Mustaine said he wanted to unite the Metal community. Then Tom Aroyo (who is decidedly Metal) came out and said, "Im all for uniting the metal community, but Dave Mustaine is not the man to do it, even Hetfeild could do it better than him, and that says alot"

See, No one really think their legends even within their own genre. ANd its because they pussed out and made risk for the sole purpose of selling records. You don't option a song to professional wrestling and still keep metal cred.

End your paltry discussion of who is better, the surrmounting evidence that you're all saying Megadeth to rage against the norm is disgusting. I don't care if you pull that opinion crap. If you liked metal, then the catalouge of Metallica would be superior to Megadeth, if you wanted to look credible on some internet board, then you'd say Megadeath. Say what you want here, but know that at least half of you are lying.
