A (Sellout) to me is not someone who makes a mint off there music/music career or some artist/band that has hit the mainstream.
It's when a band conforms to what a industry, record company or society wants them to do, for eather money,publicity or lying to legions of fans saying that they will stay true to the root of their style and spirit. When they where originaly standing against what is (cool).
So don't get me wrong I wouldn't say 4 a second Metallica (soldout) because they made millions or because they are famous.
I believe the (soldout) part of this story,is when metallica chose to make music that will make top 40 or will get easy air play by making it all disposible suga coated crap. When they started in the begining of there career it was a different story,it was about heavy metal not ((pop rock)) that's what I mean when I say (sellout).

MEGEDETH take the honors .1 to nothing!!!!

I think we can all agree pre 95 megadeth and metallica are both great and post 95 they are both terrible.

MEGADETH released some great albums after 96 too.

i mostly agree. ehh but, i also think that the S&M and Garage albums were both pretty good though.
