One of my favorite guitarists ever, Colma is probably my favorite release of his.

Buckethead, in my opinion, is the best Avant-Garde musician ever. He plays and has played so many different styles of music that this is the only genre you can put him in. If you like to listen to good music, then try out Buckethead, because he is one of the most talented musicians out there. He's a true prodigy. Some songs you may think are weird, some bad, but some are so incredible that you won't believe it.

Many people tell me they don't care that Buckethead has all these "gimmicks", but I really think that they do. That was how Buckethead reeled me in first. Seeing the bucket on the head, the rain jacket, the screwed up hand puppets. His music was phenomenal when I started to actually listen to it. So, Buckethead's image is very important for his style of music. He epitomizes the Avant-Garde style of music.

The song is called Whitewash. It's the first track on Buckethead's album, Colma.

Population Override is highly recommended. Its not metal, and Its got a bit of a Gilmour era Pink Floyd kinda thing going for it. Its not anything like his metal stuff.

Population Override does have some metal-ish moments, however a bit closer to Macalpine's stylings when it happens. Though I'd say the album in general is kind of a jazzy pscyadelic rock sound to it or maybe a psychadeliccy jazz rock. Something like that.

Population override, crime slunk scene, monstera & robots, colma and electric tears are my favorite albums.
Soothsayer being my all time favorite song of his.

EDIT:Also, i just Love his live stuff...I just can't listen to his studio albums alone!
Have to listen to some live stuff, and if there's a video of it, then even better.

Actually the keyboard on this album by Travis ****erson is just as good if not better than bucketheads playing, theres another reason to listen to it.
