Im not a big fan of Aesop Rock myself, mainly the guy's voice. It's an acquired taste, I suppose.

I stand by my original statement as long as you continue to generalize all rap as guns and hoebags. It's just as ignorant as saying all metal is screaming. When you're only exposure to rap is Lil Jon saying *skeet skeet skeet, then you shouldn't come up with that kind of a generalization.
