Epica
Apocalyptica (enough of the freakin "uh" bands already)

Nightwish (oh... so poetic)
Extreme (seriously?)
Poisen (wow, thats SO badass)

I dont think any of those are bad, in the post above that is, not the first one.

Prostitute Disfigurement is a pretty stupid name, as is Dying Fetus which has already been mentioned.

EDIT: Oh and of course Pile of Maggot Infested Viscera, Fukpig, Grinded Nig, Cuntscrape, Raped God 666 and Bestially Raped Till Dismembered are all truly classic metal names.

Having your band name deal with topics you would expect a death metal band to deal with is one thing, all the names i have just mentioned are bands that really need to develop an imagination.

Really? I thought they were terrible and cliche. But I guess you could pretty much say that about anybody who tries to force themselves into that heavy metal niche, it all seems a bit silly to me.

As does the names mentioned in the OP. Dude I could probably make up a name like that and it be a real band somewhere. Let me try it...

And seriously, if you play with that metal band name generator you will find many more that are real names.
