Bert McCracken (rock, cd, genre, fan, Courtney Love)

Does anyone else think this guy is making a play for Courtney Love's "Most obnoxious rock star ever" award?

I just think everything he does is for attention and is rarely honest or heartfelt. Heres what im talking about:

1. Once said "West coast bands come off stage and say how'd we look, east coast bands come off the stage and day how'd we sound, Utah bands come off stage and carve 666 in their back and worship satan" WTF is that? Was that supposed to be funny or cool? Cause I think he pulled off neither.

2. Every photo the man has posed for. If its not a shot of him on stage hes making some ****ed up stupid face, or hes covered in mud (the only Used member to do that in the photo). What is the point is my question in all of this.

3. If you've ever had this displeasure of hearing his "spoken word" peice on the new CD about clitorious, again, I think he's going for shock value and is an obnoxious deuche.

Thoughts?

I think he's great. He's amazing at what he does, and he does and says what he wants to.

Bert McCracken is one of the best frontman of his genre...and since the last record hes gotten clean and sober after losing his g/f and unborn kid...he used to be crazy but he has really mellowed down

He probably is one of the greatest frontmen of his genre, but that genre doesn't have many good frontmen to begin with, but yeah hes entertaining live and sounds good.

Sonny Moore is up there too...

Bert is a front man, just like Claudio Sanchez/Pete Wentz, he's there to get attention, he may come off stuck up, but thats just the way he gets attention, just like Courtney Love did..!

the used just came out with a new cd today actually
