Alter Bridge (metal, debut album, single, album, Creed)

Hi

Just wanted to know what you think of Alter Bridge?

I am a huge fan, and i'm very happy with their debut album "One Day Remains" and can i just say MYLES KENNEDY RULES!!

Has anyone heard the album and what do you think?

there most reasent single is awsome expecilly the guitar solo and myles kennedy is fit and has a great voice!!!!!!

Of course it sounds like Creed, and why shouldn't it?
Creeds songwriter was Tremonti, and now he's in a new band where he's in charge of the songwriting again.
He was doing what he loved but being ordered by dictator like Stapp, he decides to take his creation elsewhere.
It makes perfect sense.
Why should he change teh creation that makes him happy?

Well Creed was terrible. I'll check into more Alter Bridge to see if I like it but so far, nothing all that great

Not all of Alter Bridge songs sound like Creed, if u listen to the whole album "One Day Remains" then there is no way in hell you can say they sound like Creed, there are 2 songs that sound like Creed, Open Your Eyes because they wanted to release something that caught everyones attention and Broken Wings because it was a song Mark wrote while in Creed. But if you listen to songs like Metalingus, Burn it Down and Watch your Words then it aint anything like Creed.

Alter Bridge are touring the UK in November, i got my tickets for Glasgow. Check out the official site for tour dates.

Go along and see them even if you aint a fan, i've been told their excellent live and Mark Tremonti does some serious shredding, and yes Myles Kennedy is as good as he is on the album.

When Creed was together everyone complained about Scott Stapp (and rightfully so) but some claimed Creed was ok without him. Well now we have that, and so whats your opinion?

I think the disc could have been better, but do they have potential? Or will the fade away?

Also, in many respects their a "super group."
