Uh, I think that Slash should hang up his guitar... he guy is old, and hasn't improved that much in the long time he has been playing... If you want to see the greatest at a guitar, listen to Ingvay Mounstein, (I pray I spelled that right)... Or listen to John Petrucci. These men can play guitar. Also, I would like to point out that the vocalist, Stone Temple Pilots guy, yeah, well he isn't that great. The band all together is pretty mediocre.

I believe that Scott Weiland is overall a better vocalist then most other "rockers" in the sense that he can whisper low and high notes and scream the high notes as well.
This compensates for the fact that he looks like he died from all the drugs he's been taking.

What the hell has age gotta do with guitaring. Thats like saying if Hendrix had lived to old age he should've hung up his guitar. Have we ever heard of Clapton, Beck, Page. Not to mention Ronnie Wood and Keef. Their both getting on but they still jam. And yeah Slash hasnt done anything great with his Les Paul for a while. But I bet he could still play November Rain and Sweet Child O' Mine on request. So his age has nothing to do with it.
