Nothing has struck out to me as being super amazing yet, but I'm only a few tracks in. It's pretty good for an Opeth album. Nothing I've never heard before though.

Yeah, I'm two tracks in and it hasn't been bad. I just feel like it's only a matter of time before they drop a project I hate, because I keep liking their releases less and less. Might not be the case for this one though.

I don't think I'll hate it. i've always enjoyed their work, and although I miss Mikael's growls, his clean vocals are holding up nicely and it really sets a great atmosphere. The guitar solo on The Wilde Flowers is ****ing amazing though.

I enjoy it. Really digging the album. I'm right now on the song era, and it might be my favorite from the album. It does sound all the other stuff they released since they killed the growling, but i like that.

Find the deluxe edition with the live bonus tracks, one listen to "The Drapery Fall" on that one and you'll see why he doesn't do the growls anymore...
