Default Live 8 Was Awesome!!!

Live 8 was an amazing event to watch. What did you all think?

I thought it was so cool to see pink floyd playing agen, they still play as well as they used to.

in regards to the london event...i thought bar the pink floyd set towards the end (which was amazing) the whole event was dull. as usual we had the predictable, sentimental stalwarts of paul McCartney, U2, madonna and robbbie williams (yawn) while the songs the who chose to perform were quite underwhelming. i know its music for the masses but come on, if razorlight and velvet revolver were the best "rock & roll" acts they could come up with then i was never going to enjoy it. still, its the cause that counts and if it makes one iota of a difference then it was well worth it.

Saw The Who and made a point of catching Pink Floyd down the pub, both superb.
Agree with LedZep, same old finale in London. Defining moment has to be Peter Kay(not really). Funniest moment was Ricky Gervais to Madonna - 'Who are you?'
