Default Recommend Exo Some Shoegaze Thread

So I've been REALLY into some newer shoegaze bands such as Creepoid, DIIV, and Cloakroom. My favorite song is "Girls" by Death By Vegas. I like shoegaze. However, I feel my knowledge in the area is amateur at best. I love "Loveless" by MBV. I love Slint (if you call that shoegaze).

Fill me in on the rest of make me aware of a new band that sounds like Creepoid. I really like Creepoid.

I don't know much Creepoid, but you should really listen to Swirlies.

Swervedriver, Wild Moth (kinda dark post-punk vibes there too), Slowdive, Jesus and Mary Chain, Cocteau Twins, Teenage Fan Club, A Place to Bury Strangers, Flying Saucer Attack... those aree some classics off the top of my head. As a genre, as far as I'm aware, it really hasn't gone in any other directions since the 90s. There's some post-metal I've heard that supposedly incorporates elements of it but imo it's really not shoegaze unless it's jangly distorted guitars and soft vocals.
