Yes, they are a great band for sure!!!

I pretty much have all their albums too and I've really come to enjoy Aftertaste alot...and who can't love Meantime?If you like Helmet, then you probally own Meantime because it is truly their signature (and I'm not just saying that cuz it's the old album) although you might prefer another.

John Stanier was great too when he drummed on all those classic albums.The drumsound of John Stanier had an incredible "crack" to it that was quick and tight, yet also powerful at the same time!!!

Of course John Tempesta is an incredible drummer too!!!In case anyone else here didn't know, John Tempesta became famous drumming in White Zombie, but he has also had many other gigs including Testament.His drumming works pretty well on the new album and clearly rocks hard all the way through.

I don't like the new album quite as much as Aftertaste or Meantime, but I love the song "Unwound" off of it."Unwound" is the best song on the album and I could listen to and enjoy it time and time again!!!

I don't know what you guys like, but that song is the one that makes me believe that Helmet still has the chance of making many more great albums.

bump. i saw them on the warped tour this year, i was bummed more people didn't show up to their set, they have an incredibly powerful live sound. i didn't know too many songs by them when i checked them out at warped, but it didn't stop me from enjoying it. i've recently got into them quite a bit, betty is an excellent album, as is meantime. favourite song has to be wilma's rainbow. very underrated band

You're not "accidentally" hitting people. But even if you are, thats like putting perfume on a pile of sh1t and calling it a fuking rose. I've had enough excuses. I won't eat sh1t anymore.
