Chris Cornell dies at 52

:( No idea why just yet, though I don't think it matters, really.
I wasn't a fan of his solo stuff, but what he did with Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog and Audioslave will always be some of the best music I know.
As a tribute, here's his imo best song, with a great video someone online made.

De gustibus non est disputandum
This made me really sad .. his music somehow helped me when I was going through some of the worst times in my life, so .. well, I'm emotionally attached, so to say.
Sigh..

Same. But still it's always sad when someone dies so young. Also, I was in high school during the early to mid 90s so this feels like losing a bit of my youth.

oh yeah, definitely a big loss in the grand scheme, considering his influence on 90s grunge and alternative.

So I just realized something, when it comes to Grunge..
Kurt Cobain ? Dead.
Layne Staley ? Dead
Scott Weiland ? Dead
Chris Cornell ? Dead.

Eddie Vedder is the only one left out of the "Big 5" of Grunge.

Eddie Vedder, Tad, King Buzzo and Kurt D are the only one's left out of the "Big 8" of Grunge.

As for Chris, really sucks

His voice was an easily recognisable one for me through my childhood, RIP

Never really got into the back catalogues, but I remember hearing "Like A Stone" around age 15 and I've always loved it. The man can sing.

Damn that's a shock. Dude was also a huge player in my early music listening years. I only like some Soundgarden these days, but Temple of the Dog was a massive childhood staple of mine. RIP.

Badmotorfinger was a definite favourite when it came out. Sad news. RIP.
